Today was a cold, yet pretty morning at Charlotte Motor Speedway for another packed out month at Cars and Coffee Concord this December. This time, I entered as a vendor, and set up the Olympus on a tripod to take a shot of almost every car that entered up until around 9:30, with the speedway prominent in the background. I have uploaded most of these here as free samples and as a demonstration of some of my work.

I had never been to the annual AmeriCarna event, but when I visited the 2023 edition I was very impressed. It was a large event with a nice backdrop at Trane Technologies' campus right on Lake Norman. I saw so many cars of all types featured, coming from all around. More on Instagram and Facebook. Since 2019, I've been very interested in the Cybertruck as a concept. It's production delays have been extensively covered in the media, and sightings have been rare. This is why I jumped at the opportunity to visit it for myself at Tesla's Charlotte location (not a dealership!) around Thanksgiving time. On November 24th, the Friday after Thanksgiving, As expected, there was a constant crowd around the vehicle, and yes, it is as big as it looks. Electric pickup trucks are a sort of new territory, having only been tested by Rivian, Ford, and GM with the Hummer. Tesla's take is definitely unconventional, but interesting nonetheless. After seeing so many press photos online for so long, I was pleasantly suprised by how refined it has become. In person, it looked like a more complete product than I ever thought it would. Naturally, I brought my camera and took as many pictures as I could. I've selected a few to feature on Instagram, Facebook, and below, here on my website.
